So I’m sitting here humming and hawing, trying to come up with some clever way to introduce my Auntie Kris’ awesome vintage silverware trinkets, when my roommate, Kelsey, walks in, “Those are awesome.”

“I know right?? My Auntie Kris makes them…I want to write about them but I can’t figure out how to start…”

“They kind of speak for themselves, don’t they?…I want the garden forks.”

BOOM!!! She was right, they totally DO speak for themselves! Why was I wracking my brain for some witty spin, when all I really needed to do was let the silver do the talking! And in case you’re not aware, silver can be pretty damn clever with words…my spoon from Auntie Kris says, “MAKE COFFEE NOT WAR.” That, my friend, is a smart spoon.
