This week seems to be heavy on the holiday talk at Charcoal. This may or may not be because Arielle, Daniel and I all happen to have a mother who LOVES the holidays. So I am going to digress from my usual topics for a moment and turn to holiday beauty for your home!

The other day as I was putting up my most-awesome-ever fake white Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music I said for the first time, “Oh my God I’m just like my mother!?!”. Which I have decided to embrace because my mom is the best :)

My mom always has a real tree, but I live in an apartment so I have no choice but to go fake. Last year as I was purchasing my fake Christmas tree I decided that if I was going to go fake than I might as well do it to the extreme. Hence my 6.5 foot pre-lit white tree! Which I realized co-ordinates with my existing home decor far better than green would.

I have also peppered some fun holiday decorations throughout my apartment. I believe less is more when it comes to seasonal trinkets so this is it for decorations throughout my place.

I am a nerd and like to coordinate my holiday wrapping. I love wrapping gifts. A lot. This is an embarrassing confession but a very true one. Below is my last years gift wrap, and my trees first Christmas in my old apartment!
