Compendium Artist Market is an ambitious idea that wears many hats: art gallery, photography studio, craft market, and organic juice/coffee bar. It is literally a one-stop shop to get inspired, produce art, buy art, and drink coffee. How is that not great?!
This whole idea is the brainchild of Ryan Poworoznik who is the owner and operator of the venture. Ryan has created Compendium in order to support Winnipeg’s talented art community. And from what we saw at the fundraiser held last Friday at the Media Hub, Winnipeg is supporting them too. Over fifty pieces of art and hand crafted goods were donated by local talent in order to support the Market’s final stages of development that will soon open its doors at 564½ Main Street.
