Honestly, we love our city. The overall energy, the events, the businesses and ultimately the people are what make Winnipeg this amazing place that we are proud to call home. When the fine folks at Honest Agency asked us to come speak to their staff for their December refresher we jumped on the opportunity. Honest Agency is a group of “designers, account managers, programmers, and idea people” who specialize in everything from creative development to large scale ad campaigns. Their talents combine to create thought provoking advertising and innovative branding strategies for a wide host of clients. When we were approached to speak to the team we decided that we wanted to interact with everybody and try to get to know them the best way we know how, with a photo shoot. True Winnipegers can answer the question “what do you love about your city?” in a heartbeat. The staff at Honest brought it to the next level with their answers and with their beautiful design work as well. Here is what they had to say…
The photo shoot was accompanied by a presentation as well as a little music. Being the awesome people that they are they provided us with some locally produced mead as well as a spread of local cheeses. Between sips there was discussions about our great city and the importance of collaborative efforts amongst the creative institutions, which truly have been shining through to the rest of the world more and more each day. Talking to people like the crew at Honest and discussing the collective future of our city is something we wish we could do everyday and we encourage everyone to start the conversation at any chance they may get.
