One of my absolute favourite things to do is it go to pop dinners. These events are put on by various talented chefs around the city and never disappoint. With a set menu and undisclosed location, they are always full of surprises, all of which are delicious! The atmosphere is full of excitement of what you will get to eat, there is family style dining so you get to sit with lots of friends and meet new people. Last week I had the pleasure of going to such an event by the Young Chefs: Max Frank and Jesse Oberman. They teamed up with oh so talented Chris Gama and Calvin Strong to create a eclectic and mind blowing meal.

The dinner included an amuses bouche followed by five courses. Highlights were a duck spring role and beet salad with mango and indian granola. For the main event; pork done three ways with homemade pickles and mustards. Insanely awesome!! Not only are these dinners a great evening out but I also love supporting local businesses while trying new things.
